Pyramidal Thinking

There seems to be a common process used by all artists and designers while going through their creative process.

The first stage before designing any object is located at the base of the pyramid and consists of collecting as much data on similar objects.
Data such as history, use and shapes.

The second stage consists of creating one's own philosophy concerning that object.

The third stage located at the apex of the pyramid consists of acquiring one's inspiration.
This is a time of meditation and transcendental elevation.

The fourth stage is the formulation of one's concept which is a dissection of one's philosophy and its transposition into symbols and essential shapes.

The fifth stage is a passive stage when blurred images form in our minds as the result of the intensity of our previous work.

It is a time of mental compression when the intented object realizes itself until final formalization.

Magic

Ballet,( especially contemporary ballet) and Architecture share the same approach towards Beauty. In Ballet, body movements are extensions of human sensations into space. Those movements define invisible poetic spaces on stage. So too in Architecture, the designer's lines are intuitive extensions of human sensations creating visible or concrete spaces in a structure.Combining the dynamic movements of Ballet with the mystical geometry of Architecture would create a new universe of yet undiscovered sensations.
